FREE TAX PREPARATION…. MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING:

• Picture ID
• Social Security Cards (or ITINs) and dates of births for the taxpayer, spouse, and children and any other dependents you are claiming.
• W2 form (Document provided by your employer listing your earnings and taxes paid.) 1099 Forms (Document listing your different sources of income. Most commonly used by people working under contracts.)
  Copy of 2011 Income Tax Return if possible.
• Bank account number, routing number. (Bring a voided check.)
• First come, first served basis.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR FREE TAX PREPARATION?

• Families with a combined income of less than $50,000.
• Couples and singles without children earning less than $50,000.
• Immigrants without a social security number will be assisted.

EITC Awareness Day – January 25, 2013

EITC Awareness Day is a one-day blitz for mainstream and social media to reach the broadest possible range of potentially eligible taxpayers. In 2012, 26.5 million low and moderate income households received $60.7 billion under the Earned Income Tax Credit. If you worked and had income under $50,270 find out if your are eligible for EITC.

• Publication 4012, is currently still not available due to the updates on 2012 Tax Law information. We will send an email when they become available. This book is accessible through the irs.gov website.
